Her Majesty Doña Maria Isabella bears the scepter and reigns supreme for the first time in Medieval Times’
history. The Queen oversees the tournament, judging who is worthy of earning the title: Defender of the
Throne.
Before the show, take part in a knighting ceremony with the Queen. Long may she reign!
The life of a knight at the castle is one of hard work and dedication. They train for years to master horsemanship and weaponry, always focused on safety first.
Every knight learns intricate tournament tactics using a variety of authentic weapons including the lance, axe, bola and a variety of swords. Precision and form are essential, not just for battles, but also to win the Medieval Games of Skill you’ll see during the tournament.
Through daily rigorous training and practice with our magnificent horses, the knights enter each tournament with pride and honor.
